Troy Whitworth has extensive work experience in the field of medical science liaison and scientific affairs. Troy is currently working as a Medical Science Liaison at Neurelis, Inc. since February 2022. Prior to that, they were a Free Agent at ISO Neuro MSL position from November 2021 to February 2022. Troy also worked as an Executive Medical Science Liaison at Acadia Pharmaceuticals Inc. from February 2015 to February 2022. Before that, they served as a Regional Scientific Director at Novartis from December 2004 to February 2015. Troy also held the position of Scientific Affairs Liaison at Bayer Pharmaceuticals from December 2002 to December 2004. Their early career included a role as a Research Scientist at Bayer Biologics from 1998 to 2002, where they focused on drug discovery and evaluation of research partners.

Troy Whitworth pursued their education at The University of Georgia, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry between 1986 and 1992. Following this, they continued their academic journey at the same institution and completed a Ph.D. in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology from 1992 to 1998.
