Ritesh Kumar is a Neuroengineer at Neuralink since September 2022, bringing a strong background in bioengineering and biomedical engineering. Previously, Ritesh worked as a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of Pittsburgh from September 2018 to August 2022, contributing to the Rehab Neural Engineering Labs, and served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in Bioelectronics and Control Theory. At Carnegie Mellon University, Ritesh was a Graduate Student Researcher and Teaching Assistant between September 2016 and August 2018, focusing on Neural Systems and Engineering for Surgery. Earlier internships included experiences at the Variable Energy Cyclotron Centre and the Indian Institute of Technology, Ropar, highlighting expertise in medical imaging and instrumentation. Ritesh holds a PhD from the University of Pittsburgh, a master's degree from Carnegie Mellon University, and a bachelor's degree from Vellore Institute of Technology.
