Malcolm Parsons ChPP, ChMILT, FCMI, MCIRO is an experienced industry professional with a long-standing career in rail operations and infrastructure management. Since August 2004, Malcolm has held various senior positions at Network Rail, currently serving as Industry Programme Director, with prior roles including Principal Programme Sponsor for Programme Assurance in Business Development Suburban Bristol and Deputy Regional Director. In addition, Malcolm served as Interim Delivery Director and Head of Capital Delivery at the West of England Combined Authority from October 2021 to January 2025. Before Network Rail, Malcolm worked at AMEY RAIL LIMITED from January 1997 to July 2004 in several capacities, including Asset Manager, overseeing a large team for rail operation and maintenance activities. Early career experience includes roles at British Rail, where Malcolm progressed from M&E apprentice to M&E maintenance chargehand.
