Kevin Ford is an experienced professional in the telecommunications and railway sectors, currently serving as Programme Lead for Mobile to Train & Digital Railway at Network Rail since October 2013, overseeing multiple teams responsible for telecom developments in key rail programs. Prior roles include Head of Telecoms Programmes at Network Rail and various leadership positions at Thales, including VP Operations and Major Programmes Director, where responsibilities spanned operations management, program development, and P&L accountability. Earlier career experiences include engineering and technical leadership roles at British Rail Telecommunications and British Rail Board, contributing to strategic and operational aspects of telecoms within the UK rail network. Kevin holds a BSc(Hons) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from Staffordshire University.
