Elena Gonzalez holds a BA (Hons) in Media and Communication and an MSc in Public Relations. Currently serving as the Sustainability Strategy Manager (Social Value) at Network Rail since September 2023, Elena is a national technical and strategic lead for social performance. Previously, Elena worked at Eiffage Kier Ferrovial BAM from March 2018 to September 2023 as the Social Value and Legacy Manager and Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) Project Manager, where successes included achieving top EDI accreditation and listing on the National Centre For Diversity Top 100 Index. Elena's extensive experience also includes positions at Carillion, where roles spanned from Senior Project Manager to Corporate Sustainability Manager, contributing significantly to sustainability strategies and EDI initiatives. Elena's early career included a role as a PR & Comms Assistant at Camara de Comercio de Gijon.
