Eiyad Alsughayer has a comprehensive work experience in various roles related to cybersecurity and information security. Eiyad is currently working as a Territory Sales Manager at NetWitness since April 2023. Eiyad also serves as a Board Member for the National Capital Cybersecurity Fund since December 2021. Previously, they held the position of Chief Cybersecurity Officer at HALA from June 2022 to April 2023. Eiyad worked as a Cybersecurity Director at the Ministry of Culture from July 2020 to July 2022.

Prior to that, they were a Board Member at ESOC MENA from March 2020 to December 2021. Eiyad also worked as the Director of Security Services at Advanced Electronics Company from April 2019 to April 2020. Eiyad has also served as an Enterprise Risk and Information Security Manager, Information Security Lead, and Senior Information Security Specialist at THIQAH Business Services from January 2015 to April 2019.

Before transitioning to the cybersecurity field, Eiyad pursued a Master's degree in Computer, Information, and Network Security from DePaul University. During their time at DePaul, they actively participated in groups and clubs such as the ISACA Student Chapter at DePaul and the Saudi Student Association, where they held leadership positions. Prior to their master's degree, they worked at International Systems Engineering - ISE as a Business Continuity Senior Officer, where they established the Business Continuity Program and developed and implemented Business Continuity plans. Eiyad also worked at Alinma Bank as a Senior Service Continuity Specialist - Assistant Manager, where they managed and maintained the Service Continuity Management and Recovery Plans.

Eiyad Alsughayer has a diverse education history. Eiyad first attended King Saud University from 2003 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science. Following this, they pursued further studies at DePaul University from 2010 to 2011 and obtained a certificate in English Language from the English Language Academy. Eiyad then continued their education at DePaul University from 2011 to 2012, earning a Master of Science degree in Information and Network Security.

In addition to their formal education, Eiyad also obtained several certifications. In March 2016, they acquired the GIAC Web Application Penetration Tester (GWAPT) certification from GIAC. In April 2013, they obtained the ITIL Foundation certification from APM Group. Lastly, in February 2017, they obtained the CISM certification from ISACA.

Eiyad's commitment to continuous learning is evident from their enrollment in various executive education programs. Eiyad attended the London Business School in 2017 and the University of Chicago Booth School of Business Executive Education in 2018. Although the degree names are not mentioned for these programs, it can be inferred that Eiyad sought to expand their business knowledge and skills through these executive education opportunities.
