Laurence Boakes has a strong work experience in the music industry. Laurence started their career at Sony Music Entertainment in 2003, where they worked as the Head of Marketing for 15 years. In 2018, they joined KYN ENTERTAINMENT LIMITED as an Artist Manager, and then transitioned to being self-employed in the same role. In 2019, Laurence became the Director of Marketing at Nettwerk Music Group.

Laurence Boakes attended the University of Derby from 1998 to 2002, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Marketing.
