Peter Schmid is an experienced professional in application technology and management with a strong background in the manufacturing and optimization of high-performance injection molding machines. Currently serving as the Head of Application & Trainingscenter at Netstal since November 2010, Peter Schmid specializes in customer machine training, application and process training, and system and efficiency optimization. Previously, Peter held roles such as Team Leader Applications and Application Manager for the Caps & Closures Division at Netstal, where expertise was applied in high-quality injection molding solutions for the beverage, packaging, and medical technology sectors. Peter Schmid’s career also includes significant positions at FOSTAG Formenbau AG and SIG allCap AG, where responsibilities ranged from operational management to project management in the plastics industry. Educational qualifications include an Executive MBA from AKAD and a diploma in Kunststofftechnik from IBZ Schulen für Technik Informatik Wirtschaft Brugg.
