Carmen Rodríguez is an accomplished researcher with extensive experience in forestry and environmental management, currently serving as a researcher at the European Forest Institute since July 2016, focusing on project management within the WILDCARD project and conducting surveys related to social innovation. Rodríguez has participated as a Marie Curie Scholar in the MSCA-ITN Pyrolife program and has held positions as a junior researcher on various projects such as SPONFOREST and SIMRA, where contributions included policy analysis and case studies on non-timber forest products. Previous research roles include visiting researcher appointments at Hellenic Agricultural Organization "DEMETER" and AdP - Águas de Portugal. Carmen Rodríguez holds a PhD in Geography from KU Leuven and relevant degrees in Forestry and Forest Management from the University of Göttingen and Universitat Politècnica de València.
