Paloma Maldonado is a highly experienced researcher with a focus on neuroscience, currently serving as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Social Brain Lab at the Netherlands Institute for Neuroscience since May 2023. Prior to this, Paloma held a Postdoctoral Fellowship in the Computation in Neural Circuits group at the Technical University of Munich from November 2022 to April 2023. Paloma has extensive experience at the Netherlands Institute for Neuroscience, having worked in the Synapse and Network Development group from February 2014 to October 2021. Paloma earned a PhD from Université Paris Descartes between 2010 and 2013 and holds a degree from Universidad de Chile, obtained from 2004 to 2009. Additionally, Paloma attended the Escuela Experimental de Música "Jorge Peña Hen" from 1993 to 2002.
