Maarten Kamermans is a distinguished academic in the field of neurophysiology, currently serving as a Professor specialized in sensory physiology at the Academic Medical Center since 2007. With extensive experience in retinal signal processing, Maarten has led research groups at both the Netherlands Institute for Neuroscience and the Netherlands Ophthalmic Research Institute.
