Patrick Bos is an experienced technology lead and data scientist with a focus on bridging the gap between science and advanced IT and data analysis, currently serving at the Netherlands eScience Center since August 2014. As a freelance data scientist since January 2019, Patrick Bos aims to enhance human knowledge and productivity. Prior experience includes a PhD position at the Kapteyn Astronomical Institute from 2010 to 2016, involvement in the Graduate School of Science at Rijksuniversiteit Groningen, and key roles at Bètastuf and various capacities during academic studies. Patrick Bos holds both an MSc and BA in Astronomy and Philosophy from the University of Groningen and furthered education at the University of California, Santa Cruz in 2010.
