Jim Kane has been a leader of and an advisor to organizations that operate in complex, technology-intensive business environments. He provides a unique ability to strategically integrate business, technology, and government domains to achieve business objectives.
Jim served as President and CEO of the Systems and Software Consortium Inc., an affiliation of major corporations in finance, defense and IT sectors focused on common challenges in systems and software engineering. He also served as President and CEO of Federal Sources, the leading market intelligence company serving the federal IT market. Prior to 2000 he held senior positions at GTE (now Verizon) and BBN (now Raytheon Technologies) where he focused on the economics and feasibility of emerging technologies, ranging from a wireless data system for traders on the floor of the NYSE to user pricing models for national and global networks.
Jim holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Pittsburgh, and resides in Boca Raton, Florida.
