Peter Friedlander is an accomplished television executive with extensive experience in scripted series development and production. Currently serving as the Head of UCAN Scripted Series at Netflix since October 2011, Peter was instrumental in launching the Original Series initiative, contributing to the success of notable projects such as "House of Cards," "Orange is the New Black," and "Narcos." Previously, Peter worked at Playtone from May 2003 to October 2011 as an Executive and Producer, playing a key role in producing all seasons of the acclaimed HBO drama "Big Love." Peter holds a BA in Public Policy Studies with a Film Certificate from Duke University and furthered education at UCLA.
