Ayal Chen-Zion is a Staff Data Scientist at Netflix since October 2023, with prior experience as a Principal Economist at Convoy Inc., specializing in economic strategy and experiment design. Ayal also held roles as a Principal Economist and Senior Economist at Amazon, focusing on business development and advertising through causal modeling. Academic experience includes a Teaching Assistant role at the University of California, San Diego, and research contributions to various projects using Stata and SAS. Ayal holds a PhD and MA in Economics from UC San Diego and a BS in Mathematics and Economics from American University. Additionally, Ayal founded a blog, 3DPrintonomics, to explore the impact of 3D printing on the economy.
