Simon Riedener has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Starting in 2022, they became the Co-CEO of Vortex Reactor, a virtual reality startup, where they are responsible for strategic leadership and operational business activities. Simon focuses on fostering innovation and implementing growth strategies.

Prior to that, Simon worked at Netcetera - Software matters from 2012. During their time there, they held various roles including Senior Product Engineer, Head of Delivery & Program Management INFOSEC, Technical Recruiter, Senior Software Engineer Technical Coordinator, and Software Engineer.

Simon also had a teaching experience at TBZ Technical Vocational School Zurich from 2014 to 2016, where they worked as a Teacher.

Simon began their career at Swiss Post in 2000 as a Front Office Assistant and later worked as a Postman. In 2005, they joined E.G.O. Commercial Electronics AG as an Electronic Technician (Apprenticeship). Additionally, Simon worked as a Security Officer at Ruvor Management AG from 2006 to 2007.

Simon Riedener began their education in 2005 at GBS Gewerbliches Berufs- und Weiterbildungszentrum St. Gallen, where they obtained a Federal certificate of proficiency in electronics, specializing in Electronics and Electrical Engineering. Simon also earned a Vocational School Diploma from the Commercial Vocational and Further Education Center during the same period.

From 2009 to 2012, Simon attended NTB Interstaatliche Hochschule f端r Technik Buchs SG and completed their Bachelor of Science FHO degree in System Engineering with a specialisation in Computer Science.

In 2012, they continued their studies at NTB Interstaatliche Hochschule f端r Technik Buchs SG, focusing on Project Management and receiving a degree in Product and Project Engineering in 2013.

To enhance their teaching skills, Simon pursued a Teaching Diploma for Professional Schools at P辰dagogische Hochschule Z端rich from 2015 to 2016, acquiring specialist didactics knowledge.

Besides their formal education, Simon Riedener has obtained several certifications to further their professional development. These certifications include CAS Project Management from HWZ Hochschule f端r Wirtschaft Z端rich in November 2022, Machine Learning from Stanford Online in August 2021, CAS Agile Business Analysis from HWZ Hochschule f端r Wirtschaft Z端rich in January 2021, CPRE - Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering from IREB GmbH in July 2020, and Professional Scrum Product Owner from Scrum.org in December 2018.
