Rafique Syed is a seasoned technology leader currently serving as the Director of Site Reliability Engineering at NetApp since February 2024. Prior to this role, Rafique contributed as a Foundation Member at the FinOps Foundation and held the position of Director of Platform Engineering at Lifion by ADP, where a platform engineering roadmap was established to enhance scalability, resilience, and operational maintenance. Rafique's experience also includes positions as a DevOps Manager at McAfee, Head of Software Engineering Tools Group at Jio, and SCM Service Delivery Manager during the Nokia acquisition at Microsoft. Additional roles in configuration management were undertaken at Nokia India, Fair Isaac, Mansion, and CSFB. Rafique obtained an Executive General Management Program from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore and a Master of Computer Applications degree from Madurai Kamaraj University.
