Eirikur (Eiki) Hrafnsson is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in cloud innovation and engineering. Currently serving as CTO of Cloud Innovation at NetApp since August 2017, Eiki drives advancements in cloud storage through research and emerging technologies. Eiki has previously held roles such as Vice President of Cloud Engineering and Chief Architect for Data Fabric at NetApp, contributing significantly to the company’s cloud services and technology vision. Before joining NetApp, Eiki founded and served as CEO of GreenQloud, recognized as the world's first 100% Green Compute Cloud, and has substantial board experience, including membership at Planet of Seafood. Eiki's diverse background includes roles in clean tech advocacy, software engineering, and performing arts, enriched by formal education in music and technology.
