Ilaria Candiani has extensive experience in research and development within the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as retired Process R&D Head at NerPharMa, part of the NMS Group, since January 2014. Prior to this role, Ilaria led the R&D group at NerPharMa DS from 2010 onwards and worked as a GS Process Research Leader at Pharmacia from 1999 to 2003. Earlier experience includes a position as a researcher in Process Organic Chemistry at Farmitalia Carlo Erba between 1990 and 1993. Ilaria obtained a degree from Università degli Studi di Milano from 1981 to 1987 and pursued further education at the University of Basel from 1992 to 1993.
