Steve Barnett is an experienced Engineering Manager at NEPEAN Power since October 2004, specializing in detailed design, project management, and commissioning of explosion-protected electrical equipment. Prior to this, Steve served as an Electrical Operator at Bloomfield Collieries Pty Ltd., where responsibilities included CHPP process operations and electrical maintenance. An extensive background as an Electrical Service Engineer at Hunter Control involved plant life cycle management, system maintenance, and the development of safety procedures. Steve began their career at Ampcontrol as an Electrical Engineer/Estimator and completed an electrical apprenticeship and trade certification. Steve holds a Certificate in Electrical Engineering from TAFE NSW.
