Pete Williams is currently an advisor at Neota Logic. Prior to that, they worked as a legal intern at the American Civil Liberties Union of Massachusetts from December 2019 to February 2020, where they assisted in investigations and prepared legal memoranda regarding a variety of civil rights issues, including free speech and restraints on venue and standing in lawsuits against the federal government. From June 2019 to August 2019, Pete worked as a legal intern at the New York State Office of the Attorney General, Labor Bureau, where they assisted in drafting the complaint for a multistate lawsuit challenging a federal immigration regulation. Pete also filed a brief in the Appellate Division of the New York Supreme Court, successfully defending a decision of the Workers’ Compensation Board not to apportion a particular claim, benefiting an injured employee. Pete has also served as a teaching assistant for the Legal Skills in Social Context course at Northeastern University School of Law from August 2018 to May 2019. In addition, they completed a legal internship at Shapiro, Weissberg & Garin, LLP from May 2018 to August 2018.
Pete Williams attended Northeastern University School of Law, where they obtained their Doctor of Law degree. Prior to that, they completed their BA in Journalism at Hampshire College. Pete also holds certification in Cybersecurity Awareness Training from ESET North America.
