Kathleen Murphy Toms is a seasoned professional in digital strategy and communications, currently serving as an Adjunct Instructor at New York University's Heyman Program for Fundraising and Philanthropy. In this role, Kathleen teaches students about leveraging technology for social good through a course on social media and email fundraising. Additionally, Kathleen holds the position of National Sales Director for Fundraise + Giving Days at Neon One and has been a Community Partner at 18 Coffees since September 2020. Previously, Kathleen was the Global Director of Digital Strategy for GivingTuesday, leading communications for a major philanthropic movement. Additional experience includes significant roles in communications and digital strategy for Forefront, The Belfer Center for Innovation & Social Impact, and K. Murphy Communications, along with early career experience in arts administration and grassroots organizing. Kathleen holds a BA in Art History from the University of Illinois Chicago.
