Lisa Soughers, GPHR, currently serves as the Senior Vice President of People Operations at Nelson Connects since November 2023. Prior to this role, Soughers held positions at Innovative Employee Solutions as Vice President of Human Resources from August 2022 to November 2023, and at Velocity Global, LLC, where responsibilities included Vice President of Total Rewards, People Systems & People Operations and Senior Director of US HR Operations between April 2021 and August 2022. Soughers also served as Vice President of Human Resources at iWorkGlobal from October 2016 until it integrated with Velocity Global in April 2021. Earlier career experiences include leadership roles at Schurman Retail Group and WorkforceLogic, along with a foundational role as Staffing Supervisor at the Nelson Family of Companies. Soughers earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Colorado Boulder.
