Jim Buchanan is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management and operations. Currently serving as Senior Project Manager for Strategy and Marketing at Neighborly® since March 2022, Jim previously held the role of Chief of Operations at Soggy Zoggy Aquatics for over seven years, successfully building a profitable business from a city swim program proposal. Prior experience includes General Manager at Utility Systems Solutions, Inc., where Jim managed multiple construction projects, and Emergency Management Coordinator for the Dallas Independent School District, notable for overseeing a $1.2 billion budget. Jim's career began in the United States Air Force as a Special Operations/Rescue Helicopter Pilot after graduating from the USAF Academy with a degree in Electrical Engineering, complemented by a Master of Science in Business Administration from Troy State University.
