Melissa Evans is an experienced attorney specializing in employment law and economic security. Currently serving as the Managing Attorney for the Economic Security Unit at Neighborhood Legal Services since December 2023, Melissa leads efforts to address employment, public benefits, and consumer issues for clients. Prior roles include Employment Attorney at Neighborhood Legal Services Association from March 2021 to December 2023, where Melissa provided legal advocacy to underserved individuals. Melissa has also held leadership positions, such as Board President for Dress for Success Pittsburgh, and practiced law in various firms, acquiring extensive expertise in employment litigation, regulatory compliance, and related fields. Melissa holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in English and History from the University of Vermont.
