Kate Riedy is a dedicated performing arts educator with extensive experience in teaching and curriculum development across various educational settings. Currently serving as a Performing Arts Teacher at Neighborhood House Charter School since October 2021, Kate previously worked as a Preschool Teacher at Everbrook Academy and a 1st Grade Teacher at Greenville County Schools. Kate's background includes roles as a Resident Teaching Artist at Lexington Children's Theatre and a Teaching Artist at South Carolina Children's Theatre, where expertise in music, dance, and acting was applied. Additionally, Kate has held a position as a Drama Teacher at High Point Academy Spartanburg SC, focusing on K-8 theatre arts. Academic achievements include a Master of Fine Arts in Theatre Education from Emerson College and a Master of Arts in Drama and Dramatics/Theatre Arts from Bob Jones University, along with dual Bachelor's degrees in Musical Theatre and Early Childhood Education from Converse University.
