George Codding is a seasoned fire analyst with a diverse background in fire investigation, law, and public service. Currently serving at NEFCO Fire Investigations since August 2021, George previously held the position of Senior Assistant Attorney General at the Colorado Attorney General's Office until May 2024. George's extensive experience includes roles as a fire investigator and retired firefighter at Louisville Fire Protection District, where service extended from 1998 to January 2024, and leadership as President of the International Association of Arson Investigators from April 2016 to April 2017. Early in the career, George served as a firefighter and fire officer at Cherryvale Fire Protection District from 1986 to 1999. Academic credentials include a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Colorado Boulder and studies at Université de Bordeaux in France.
