Dermot Murphy is currently an advisor at Needslist. Prior to that, they were a program manager at Devereux for six years. In that role, they were responsible for managing a facility and nine employees in compliance with company policies and Department of Public Welfare requirements. Dermot conducted strategic planning, managed budgets and resources, and delegated workloads. Dermot also interviewed, hired, and trained all new employees on facility-specific requirements and protocols.
Some of Dermot's key achievements include building a strong team that resulted in 100% employee retention rate and perfect rating from Department of Public Welfare during annual evaluations. Dermot also established the lowest rate of client-related behavioral issues in at least five years and consistently remained ahead of schedule for workload planning, payroll, staff training, and required weekly, monthly, and yearly documentation.
Before Devereux, Dermot completed a strategic plan internship at Deborah Heart and Lung Center where they coordinated with the COO on the initial stage of the strategic planning process including the internal and external analysis, and the coinciding strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the organization; data analysis and determining demographic and health related trends.
