Rowan Marijnissen - de Jong is an experienced healthcare professional currently serving as a Toezichthouder at the Nederlandse Zorgautoriteit (NZa) since September 2022. Previously, from January 2011 to September 2022, Rowan held multiple roles at Elisabeth-TweeSteden Ziekenhuis (ETZ), including Praktijkopleider intensive care unit and Verpleegkundige ICU. Additionally, Rowan served as Voorzitter V&VN-IC at Verpleegkundigen & Verzorgenden Nederland from January 2020 to September 2022 and worked as an author for Malmberg from March 2018 to September 2022. Earlier experience includes nursing at Het Van Weel-Bethesda Ziekenhuis in the neurology and obstetrics & gynecology departments. Rowan's education includes a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Avans plus Breda, a Bachelor’s in Education from HAN University of Applied Sciences, and an intensive care nursing qualification from Erasmus University Rotterdam, complemented by an MBO in Nursing from Albeda College.
