Michiel Cnossen is an experienced engineering professional with a diverse background in hardware, software, and firmware development. As the owner of BrightLion Engineering since November 2021, Cnossen oversees a multidisciplinary engineering office equipped for rapid prototyping. Concurrently, Cnossen serves as a hardware engineer at Nedap Retail. Prior experience includes roles at SFC Energy Power Supply Solutions as a hardware/firmware engineer, and at USE-System Engineering and Octronics as a hardware engineer, where expertise in industrial lighting systems and embedded software/hardware development was applied. Cnossen also has a background in software engineering from SMST Designers & Constructors, focusing on offshore crane programming, and held a part-time position at Led Factory during academic studies, developing LED drivers and printed circuit boards.
