Diederik Lokhorst is a specialist in viral vector processes with extensive experience in both process and analytical development. Currently employed at NecstGen since September 2022, Diederik focuses on viral vector (LV and AAV) development, ensuring GMP readiness through documentation preparation and facility organization. Prior to this role, Diederik served as the Lead Technician Bioprocess at MeiraGTx Netherlands B.V., where responsibilities included overseeing AAV production for preclinical studies and managing a team of technicians. Diederik's career includes early research experiences at Delft University of Technology, culminating in a Bachelor of Science in Life Science & Technology from the same institution. Additional qualifications include a Spanish course from the CIE Spanish School and a high school diploma from Erasmiaans Gymnasium.
