Kelly Kipferl has extensive experience in technology and engineering roles, currently serving as the Director of Solutions Engineering at NEC National Security Systems since March 2020, where responsibility includes applying fiber sensing and AI technology to enhance Telecommunications and Critical Infrastructure. Prior experience includes positions as Solutions Architect at Northrop Grumman Mission Systems, Inc., and Biometric Solutions Consultant at IBM, focusing on biometrics and identity management. Kelly’s background also includes a lengthy tenure at 3M Cogent as Technical Manager, overseeing various biometric solutions, and previous engineering and consulting roles at organizations such as TRW, Watson Wyatt Worldwide, Coopers & Lybrand, and Trecom Business Systems. Kelly holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania and an Associate of Arts in Computer and Information Sciences from Keystone College.
