Katja Fricke, PhD, currently serves as Chief Operating Officer and Qualitätsbeauftragte at Nebula Biocides GmbH since July 2021. Prior to this role, Katja Fricke held various positions at the Leibniz Institute for Plasma Science and Technology from September 2008 to December 2021, including Research Associate and Head of the Research Programme on Bioactive Surfaces. A Postdoctoral Research Fellow at École Polytechnique de Montréal in early 2014, Katja Fricke focused on thin film deposition using dielectric barrier discharges. Earlier experience includes a role as a Research Assistant at the University of Greifswald. Educational qualifications encompass a PhD in Pharmaceutical Technology and a Diploma Degree in Environmental Sciences from the University of Greifswald, as well as multiple certifications in quality management within the medical device industry from TÜV Rheinland Akademie, TÜV Süd Akademie, and TÜV NORD Akademie.
