Tom B. has a diverse work experience starting from 2006. Tom began their career as a Research Assistant at NICTA in 2006. In 2007, they worked as a Kernel Hacker at OKL for a short period. Subsequently, they joined Apple Inc. in 2008 as a Kernel Hacker and worked there until 2011. From 2011 to 2013, Tom worked at osmeta as a Software Engineer. In 2011, they also took up a volunteer role as a Role Model at 10 Books A Home, where they served until 2014. Tom then joined Facebook in 2013 as a Software Engineer and remained with the company until 2020. Currently, they are employed at Neara as a Software Engineer, starting in 2021.

Tom B. attended the University of New South Wales (UNSW) from 2003 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
