Jason León is an experienced political consultant and campaign strategist with a proven track record in various leadership roles. Currently a member of the Campaigns & Elections Team at NEA since January 2018, Jason collaborates with affiliate unions across several states. Previously, as Founder and Principal of Three Lions Strategy Group from October 2013 to January 2018, Jason provided consulting services to Democratic candidates and progressive organizations in the U.S. and Latin America. Jason has held key positions such as Political Director for Governor John Kitzhaber’s re-election campaign, National Field Director for the Alliance for Citizenship, and Political and National Outreach Director for Project New America. Additional roles include Senior Campaign Specialist at AFL-CIO and Deputy Political Director at the Democratic National Committee, where Jason contributed to the successful 2006 mid-term elections. Jason's extensive experience encompasses managing political programs, coalition building, and directing field operations for significant campaigns and initiatives.
