Abdullahi Khalif currently serves as the Climate Change Analyst/NDC/NAP/NDA and Climate Finance Lead at the NDC Partnership since September 2022. Prior to this role, Khalif worked at the Famine Early Warning Systems Network (FEWS NET) from July 2017 to August 2022 in various positions, including Global Network Development, Partnership and Representational Advisor, and Senior International Food Security Advisor. Between May 2015 and July 2017, Khalif was the Senior Regional Food Security Advisor at the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation. Khalif's earlier experience at FEWS NET included serving as the Country Representative for Somalia and fulfilling various analytical roles related to food security from March 2010 to May 2015. Khalif began a career in food security as a National Programme Officer with the World Food Programme from June 2006 to March 2010.
