Mark Hagerott PhD currently serves as the Vice President of the NDIA Northern Tier Chapter and is a member of the Secretary of the Navy Education Advisory Board E4S. Hagerott has held the position of Chancellor of the North Dakota University System since July 2015 and has joint academic appointments at both the University of North Dakota and North Dakota State University. Notable previous roles include Chairman of the Secretary of the Navy's Education Task Force and Deputy Director at the Center for Cyber Studies, U.S. Naval Academy. Hagerott's academic credentials include a PhD in Science and Technology Studies from the University of Maryland, alongside a Rhodes Scholar designation with an MA in Economics and Politics from Oxford University and a BS from the United States Naval Academy. Research interests focus on technological change and organizational adaptation.
