Marjorie Molina serves as a City Council Member for the City of Charlotte, actively participating as Vice Chair of the Transportation, Planning, and Development Committee and as a member of the Jobs and Economic Development and Housing, Safety, and Community Committees. Molina has run for re-election for Charlotte City Council, District 5, following an earlier candidacy for the same position. Prior to their political career, Molina was a small business owner of Molina Auto/Taller Mecanico Molina, LLC from 2007 to 2018, and an entrepreneur who created and hosted a radio show, The Diversity Experience, on WGIV 103.3 FM. Molina has also held various roles in community organizing and womenās economic empowerment, including work with Hillary for America and UN Women. Educational credentials include a Senior Executives in State and Local Government degree from Harvard Kennedy School, a Master of Science in Management from UNC Charlotteās Belk College of Business, and a Bachelor of Arts from Arizona State University.
