Lauren Hutchison is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Director of Communications and Engagement at Nch’ḵaỷ Development Corporation since November 2022. Previously, Lauren held roles including Assistant Director of Media & Public Relations at the BC Teachers’ Federation and Senior Communications Officer at Squamish Nation, where significant improvements in member satisfaction were achieved. Additional experience includes positions as Communications Officer at Tsawwassen First Nation and Marketing Manager at Klear Communication, among others. Lauren's educational background features a Diploma in Public Relations/Image Management from the University of Victoria and a Bachelor of Arts with Distinction in Communication and Media Studies from Simon Fraser University.
