Anamika Laad AICP, CTP, CSSGB is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in project development and environmental assessment, currently serving as the Manager of the Project Development Unit in the Rail Division at NCDOT since March 2014. Prior roles include Senior Rail Project Development Engineer and Senior Public Involvement Officer/Engineer. Anamika has held leadership positions such as Awards Committee Chair for the WTS NC Triangle Chapter and VP of Communications for the NC LMDA. Previous experience includes Programs Manager at the East Michigan Council of Governments, where Anamika managed regional transportation programs across 14 counties, successfully supervised staff, and contributed to award-winning projects. Anamika holds multiple degrees in Urban and Regional Planning and Architecture from Michigan State University, the University of Michigan, and Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology.
