Jared Pone, Esq. is a legal professional currently serving as the Legislative/External Affairs Manager for the NC Department of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention and as the Managing Attorney at Pone Law, PLLC. With extensive experience in policy advocacy, Jared Pone previously worked as Policy Counsel for the Center for Responsible Lending, focusing on eliminating abusive lending practices. Earlier roles include Associate Attorney at Katy Chavez Law, Student Lead for the NCCU School of Law Virtual Justice Project, and Student Advocate under the Third Year Practice Rule at North Carolina Central University School of Law. Educational achievements include a Doctor of Law (JD), a Master of Public Administration, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, all from North Carolina Central University. Prior to their legal career, Jared Pone contributed to community development and outreach as a Project Manager for the City of Durham and served as a firefighter for Grays Creek Fire Department.
