Sergio Quintana is an experienced television news reporter currently working at NBC Bay Area since May 2017. Prior to this role, Quintana was a reporter at KGO-TV from 2011 to May 2017. Additionally, Quintana served as the National Secretary for the National Association of Hispanic Journalists from 2012 to 2014 and worked as a freelance reporter and producer for NPR from 2010 to 2012. In 2011, Quintana also contributed as a freelance reporter for Al Jazeera English. Earlier in the career, Quintana worked as a freelance broadcast journalist from 1998 to 2010, with reporting roles at WNCN between 2005 and 2008, and KFWB from 2003 to 2005. Quintana holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Government from The University of New Mexico.
