Cinthia Pimentel is a bilingual weather anchor and producer at NBC Bay Area and Telemundo 48 since September 2022, focusing on impactful climate storytelling. Prior experience includes serving as a 3pm news producer for KRON-TV and as a digital content producer for the KRONon streaming news app. Cinthia has also worked as a campus life reporter at Anteater TV and held various roles at Abercrombie & Fitch and KRON-TV, including assignment desk and weather forecast intern. As a student advisor for 10,000 Degrees, Cinthia provided guidance to low-income and first-generation high school students aspiring to attend college. Cinthia is pursuing a Broadcast and Operational Meteorology Certificate at Mississippi State University while holding a Bachelor of Science in Earth Systems Science from UC Irvine.
