Trygve Nøkleby is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the maritime and shipping industries. Currently serving as Managing Director of the Bergen Shipowners Association since August 2021, Nøkleby has also held multiple leadership roles at Gard AS since February 2004, including Managing Director positions in Gard Bergen and Gard (HK) Ltd., as well as Vice President of Human Resources with global responsibilities. In addition, Nøkleby is a Loss Prevention Manager at Navidium Plc and contributes as a Board Member for the Norwegian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong. Nøkleby’s naval experience includes serving as Commanding Officer in the Royal Norwegian Navy. Nøkleby holds an Executive MBA in Strategic Management from the Norwegian School of Economics and a Bachelor of Science in Nautical from the Norwegian Naval Academy.
