Christopher James has an extensive work experience, beginning with their role as a Medical Assistant at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in 2007. In 2008, they moved to Weill Cornell Medical College as a Senior Patient Coordinator. In 2015, they returned to Stony Brook Medicine as a Member Advocate. In 2022, they accepted a role as a Patient Access Representative in the Emergency Room, and in 2023 they joined NAVERIS as a Client Services Specialist. Christopher is also the Co-Founder of Mokete NYC.

Christopher James obtained an Associate in Health Sciences from Wood Tobe-Coburn in 2006-2007. Christopher then pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science - BASc in Environmental Science from the University of Phoenix from 2019-2021. In 2021, they also obtained a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education.
