Layla Spellman has extensive experience in educational support roles, currently serving as GEAR UP Coordinator and previously as GEAR UP Administrative Assistant at Navasota Independent School District since February 2019. Prior to this position, Layla worked as a Student Assistant at Texas A&M University from January 2017 to January 2019. Layla holds a Bachelor's degree in Health Services/Allied Health/Health Sciences from Texas A&M University, obtained between 2016 and 2018, and an Associate of Science in Biology from Blinn College, completed in 2018. Layla is also a Distinguished Achievement graduate of Navasota High School, class of 2016.
