Gopalarao Kambidi has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Gopalarao began their career in 1997 as an Executive Engineer/Scientist at ITI Ltd. After spending seven years there, they moved on to Tata Elxsi where they worked as a Senior Specialist for three years. Gopalarao then joined VELANKANI SOFTWARE PRIVATE LIMITED as a Technology Lead and later joined NMS Communications Ltd as a Technical Manager. In 2009, they returned to Tata Elxsi, this time as a Senior Specialist-Networking, and stayed there until 2014. From 2014 to 2016, they worked at TEKWISSEN as a Senior Technology Architect before joining Infosys in the same role. Gopalarao served as a Senior Technology Architect at Infosys until 2020 when they joined Wipro. In 2022, they worked as a Technical Project Manager at NAVA Software Solutions before ultimately joining Comcast as a Senior Consultant in 2023.

Gopalarao Kambidi earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada, where they studied from 1991 to 1995. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, from 1995 to 1997.
