Bobby Oberlechner, BS, MEd, CSP has over a decade of experience in the field of safety management. Bobby began their career as a Safety Coordinator/Representative at DXP Enterprises, Inc. in 2011, where they handled field installations and fit testing. Bobby then moved on to Pioneer Energy Services in 2013 as an HSE Manager, overseeing multiple districts and significantly reducing incident rates. Subsequently, they worked at Crossfire, LLC as a Safety Coordinator, focusing on process safety management and accident investigations. Bobby then transitioned to the Port of Houston Authority as a Safety Manager in 2015, developing safety programs and committees to mitigate hazards. From there, they served as the Safety Manager at RoyOMartin before becoming the Regional EHS Manager at Metro Ports in 2019. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Safety Health and Environmental for Nautilus International Holding Corporation, where they continue to lead safety initiatives and programs.

Bobby Oberlechner holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Occupational Safety and Health from Columbia Southern University, obtained in 2014. In 2016, they completed a Master of Education (MEd) in Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language/ESL Language Instructor from Sam Houston State University. Bobby also obtained a Master of Science (MS) in Public Health from Columbia Southern University in 2018. Bobby is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Higher Education/Higher Education Administration from Liberty University, anticipated to be completed by 2022. In terms of additional certifications, Bobby obtained a CSP certification from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals in 2016 and a TESOL certification from Sam Houston State University in the same year.
