Melanie Spencer is a seasoned auditor with extensive experience in the financial sector, currently serving as a Senior Auditor at NatWest Group since January 2020. Previous roles include Senior Internal Auditor at Virgin Money and Internal Auditor at Virgin Money, where contributions included high-quality audits focused on financial crime, GDPR, and incident management, as well as successful integration efforts during the Virgin Money and Clydesdale merger. Prior experience includes a career in law enforcement as a Police Constable with Police Scotland, and earlier roles in database administration and training. Melanie holds a Diploma in Police Leadership and Management from the University of Stirling and a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Edinburgh Napier University.
