Previously, Frank served as a nonexecutive director of Crédit Agricole CIB, EDF, Home Credit, Orange, Sonaecom SGPS, and as Deputy Chairman and acting Chairman of Telenor ASA. During his executive career he held various roles at Thomson S.A., including Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, and was Deputy Chief Executive Officer of France Telecom. Prior to that he was Chairman of SG Warburg France and a Managing Director of SG Warburg.

Frank is a graduate of HEC and IEP in Paris and of the Harvard Law School in the US.
